Marrix Sugar Store
This week

Six nights, and no two of them feel alike

The three nights people come back for

The floor filling on a Saturday evening

The green cut on Tuesday and Thursday takes six people at one table. Forty-five minutes, no charge, and you can stay on the floor afterwards or go home.

Wednesday runs as one long cut with no break and a single plate off the pit. It is the quietest night of the six and the regulars are protective of it.

The Saturday ladder is social in the strict sense: a name chalked up on the consignment board, no entry fee collected and no money paid out. The winning table gets first pick off the pit.
